Pair of Ridetech Front TQ Series Coilovers for use with StrongArms on 1967, 1968, 1969 and 1970 Mustangs.
Ridetech offers adjustable suspension if you like to tune the ride to your liking. Ridetech's 1967-1970 Mustang coilovers provide the ultimate ride quality, handling performance and simplicity. TQ (Track Quality) shocks offer remote reservoirs and triple adjustability compared to the single adjustable HQ series shocks. Tune rebound just like the HQ shock, but also change high and low speed compression adjustments.
Ridetech Track Quality Coilovers offer a single rebound adjustment as well as a dual stage compression (high speed and low speed) adjustment. The high speed adjustment allows tuning for impact harshness including pot holes, speed bumps, offroad use and other harsh road irregularities that might induce a high speed excursion of the piston rod. The low speed adjustment allows tuning of ride quality as well as the general cornering characteristics of typical road course and race track use. A remote reservoir is connected to the shock with a 30 inch braided line for easy installation in a variety of installation applications. TQ coilovers are the ultimate choice for autocrossing, track days, drag racing and other extreme environment use.
Superior fade free performance and great ride quality come from the mono-tube construction. An impact forged aluminum body with an anodized finish provides superior strength and reliable service. A 5/8" chrome shock shaft moves a 1.834" piston that dampens suspension travel. Oil leakage is eliminated by use of a double sealed rod guide with a dust cover. The height adjuster uses a unique clamp and finer thread for easy adjustment. There is no set screw to ruin threads on the shock body. Includes 1/2" bore x 1" kevlar lined bearings for noise free operation and CNC machined billet hardware.
Ridetech chooses high quality springs that are manufactured in the USA. 2-1/2" coil springs are made in Indiana by HyperCo. HyperCo uses CNC'd cold wound high tensile premium steel. This lessens weight, resists bowing and increases travel. Ridetech engineers the spring rates to help your car handle to the best of its abilities.
*Requires StrongArms for mounting.
Ridetech has complete control over every aspect of the design, quality and delivery. A majority of all manufacturing is done in-house as well as all research and development, CAD drawings, prototyping, CNC machining, CNC tube bending, jig welding, shock assembly and dynoing, air spring crimping and burst testing, and finally assembly. Ridetech is a company full of hot rodders that know exactly what you want and what you need for your vehicle. All tech/sales employees have Ridetech equipped suspension vehicles and have been involved in the design, manufacture and installation of their suspension systems.
