By ordering an Old Air Products Hurricane Heat Cool and Defrost Unit (CAP-7201-U), you are guaranteeing yourself a hassle-free upgrade to the heating, cooling, and defrost system in your Chevy C10. This unit mounts firmly to the firewall of your vehicle with custom metal block off plates. Its integrated switching package allows it to utilize your Chevy’s original heater control to operate all air conditioning and defrost functions. You will also receive dual center louvers and two single rectangular louvers that mount along the lower edge of your dashboard. The dash louvers connect to the original defrost outlets using flexible plastic duct hoses.
As a bonus, your unit (CAP-7201-U) will come with a new ABS plastic glove box for storage. SuperKool Aluminum Condenser Assembly includes receiver/drier, custom aluminum tubes, and mounting brackets. Please see the list below for more included parts.
*How to measure a Chevy water pump to determine which bracket is needed to mount the compressor: Measure from the pulley mounting flange to the front of the engine where the water pump is bolted to the block. (Short water pump: 5-5/8”. Long water pump: 7”)
