If you're running a large stereo system or any other electronics in your 05 through 08 Mustang GT that draw a lot of current, this 200 amp alternator is going to be a perfect choice. It's going to be a direct replacement for your factory alternator and we used a factory plug and it even includes the pulley. It's going to have 100 amps at idle and 200 amps at 6,000 rpms. The 05 through 08 Mustangs with a 3 valve also have a very common problem where you get check engine light for a cam position sensor malfunction. Most times it's actually not the sensor but a problem with your factory alternator that can be fixed with a replacement like this one from PA Performance.
