Time to give your classic 1965 or 1966 Mustang with an automatic transmission a much-needed brake upgrade with a brand new power brake booster conversion kit. The CJ Classics Power Brake Booster Conversion Kit with a Dual Bowl Master Cylinder has increased brake sensitivity and comes with a 7/8” dual bowl master cylinder, making this a well-rounded, superior upgrade for your factory brakes.

Along with a new Bendix style power brake booster, this power brake conversion kit also comes with a dual bowl master cylinder, which increases safety. It supplies brake pressure to the front and rear brakes individually, unlike a single bowl, which will distribute pressure at the same time to the front and rear brakes. This means that if you lose control of your front or rear brakes, the other pair of brakes will still be able to bring your Mustang to a complete stop. Even though the push rod on the power booster is preset, it can still be adjusted for desired pedal height.
For a perfect, direct-fit, the mounting brackets were specially designed for an easy bolt-in. The original brake pedal assembly and shock tower clearance will remain intact. The only modification that will be necessary is the bending of the new lines from the master cylinder to the distribution block.

Please Note:
- This booster requires a minimum of 15 pounds of engine vacuum pressure at idle for maximum stopping power. Some high performance high lift camshafts may not create enough vacuum. Stock engine vacuum pressure is 18 pounds.
- Ports are on the Right side towards the engine to clear shock towers. Modifications may need to be made to lines.
