Ram Air Hood Plenum for 1971, 1972 and 1973 Mustangs.
1971 Mustangs not only got an all-new body style, but they also received a unique hood. The hood had twin NACA ducts that directed air through a plenum and then on to the air cleaner. Over the years, this plenum can get damaged, so if you're fixing up a 1971-1973 Mustang, you might need a new one. Fortunately, CJ Pony Parts carries this nice reproduction of your original Ram Air Hood Plenum! This Ram Air Hood Plenum has vacuum solenoid-actuated flappers, and it's specifically for Ram Air-equipped Mustangs. The plenum connects to the underside of the hood at the twin air intake scoops and connects to the top of the air cleaner base.
