2014 Mustang Specs & Prices
Last Updated June 13, 2023 | Andrew BoyleThe 2014 Mustang remained quite similar to the 2013 model year, however, it was the last year for the S197 body style and chassis. Little did we know that the S550 would blow everyone’s minds just the following year with independent rear suspension, more power, and a completely new look!
With the options for a performance package regardless of engine, you’ll be able to harness your inner corner-carver with the 2014 Mustang. On the GT, you’ll see larger 14-inch front rotors with 4-Piston Brembo Calipers! Along with the additional stopping power, you’ll get 19”x9” wheels and 255/40/19 Pirelli P-Zero Summer Tires for maximum traction both on and off the track. Once you feel that additional grip, you’ll only want more, so hold on tight!
Moving on to the GT500, the 2014 Shelby GT500 was the last GT500 for the S197 platform. With that said, the late Carroll Shelby wanted nothing but record-breaking insanity out of the GT500, and that’s exactly what was delivered with the 2013 model year: 662 horsepower and 200+ mph out of a factory production car - something that had been never heard of at that time.
2014 Mustang V6 Specs & Prices
Being the commuter car-type, the Mustang V6 is often overshadowed by its big brother, the GT. However, the V6 typically sells just as well, if not better than the GT. Many people pick up the V6 for the price point, or simply for the fuel economy. They also make excellent rental cars since they’re not only a Mustang, but they’re cheaper than their counterparts and boast decent power for a rental fleet. If you’re looking for a Mustang that doesn’t break the bank, looks the part and will get you from point A to point B reliably, safely, in style and with good fuel economy - then the Mustang V6 is for you!
