This product will fit the following Mustang years:

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Instrument voltage regualtor Great Product! Installed on my 1968 Cougar with original analog gauges, For the past 32 years the Temperature gauge read inaccurately, and the other analog indicators would bounce around and give poor readings. Problem solved with this solid state device. The Ford Shop Manual advised changing it by removing heater controls for access. I had success removing the entire instrument cluster and checking all the light bulbs , wiring, and ground connections.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Gauges not reading properly upgraded to solid state instrument panel regulator, but fuel gage now only goes up to 1/2 full even when tank is full. Probably not getting accurate readings from other gages either. Any ideas what might be wrong? Wires crossed? Ground issue?

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Didn’t work Bought for a 63 ford falcon. Read full tilt from get go. Tried adjusting the useless set screw, it is too small to adjust. Your not sure if your adjusting too far one way or another.

My gas gage will only go to half full when the tank is full of gas. Checked the sending unit (new) and put in a new gage, both are good but gage still reads half full. Will this voltage regulator fix the problem?

rayvan152 here can you tell me does this replace the voltage regulator that is mounted in the engine compartment near radiator on 67 mustang ?

Asked by: rayvan152
This is an instrument cluster regulator. I would suggest this one, https://www.cjponyparts.com/ford-electronic-voltage-regulator-1965-1973/p/VR8/, or this one https://www.cjponyparts.com/voltage-regulator-autolite-black-1965-1967/p/VR3/.
