8-Pattern Sequential LED Taillight Kit for 1967 and 1968 Mustangs.

There are so many Mustangs with sequential taillights that it can be hard to stand out from the crowd. However, this 8-Pattern Sequential LED Taillight Kit for 1967-1968 Mustangs takes sequential taillights to the next level. Eight user selectable sequential patterns are included in this plug-n-play wiring kit. Switching between the sequential patterns only requires the push of a button.

The factory style connectors plug right into your OEM light bulb socket for simple installation. You can reuse your OEM housings and lenses. The factory taillight housing's waterproof sealing is maintained. This kit is engineered for simple mounting, wiring and operation. All circuitry is self-contained with no separate control module to mount.

Standard Flash Mode and Demonstration Mode:
- Standard Flash Mode - Flashes all LEDs in all panels together with the flasher relay or solid light with brake. Mimics light bulb operation.
- Demonstration Mode - Steps through each sequential pattern cyclically. Flashes each sequence six times before stepping to the next sequence, then repeats.

Over forty bright LEDs (per panel) replace the factory incandescent bulbs. The kit is designed to utilize all available illumination area of the lenses. LEDs are brighter than incandescent lights, last much longer, and run extremely cool. LED voltage is internally regulated assuring constant brightness regardless of vehicle voltage. Input voltage is rated at 11-15 volts. The kit doesn't draw any power when the ignition is off. All mounting hardware is included.

*Requires low current draw flasher module. Sold separately.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product - just remember the flasher(s) I installed these on my dad's 67 convertible - the installation was easy and I am very pleased with the increased brightness & cool factor with the sequential lighting. The only issue I ran into was the Electronic Flasher for the change over to LED's. All the notes on this site stated I only needed 1 flasher - however my 67 convertible has two - 1 for the hazards and 1 for the turn signals. Once I discovered this, I was able to get them to work properly. No fault of the product - just something that would help with the instructions / documentation.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from GREAT FEATURE Hello, the product is good but you should give more details about how to change the flashers on a 1967-1968 MUSTANG. Do we need to change the 2 flashers ? Emergency and turn ? Thank you for answering.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from 1968 Mustang Sequential LED tail light My Stang is a ground up project and it will be late summer before I will get car wired and see the lights in action. I did install them on the car and the process was simple and straight forward.

I'm excited to install my new kit!  However I have some light corrosion inside the housing which  I plan to sand blast and paint while they are apart.  With these LED panels does it matter what I paint them?  My assumtion is no need for reflection withLED

Asked by: Blaze67
It wouldn't matter.

What happens if you don't connect the pink wire? Do you just lose your programable options? So it becomes just a regular sequential flasher? Do you still need the flasher module? Or is it just plug and play without the pink wire?

Asked by: SouthSideStrangler
You do need the flasher module. The pink wire needs to be wired to 12 volts so you can program and keep the sequential's working but is not necessary for them to work like regular taillights.

It's a kit, so you'll get lights for both sides.

My 67 Coupe has four taillights.  Two sets of regular taillights installed in the back panel by a previous owner.  Sort of Shelby like.  Could you buy two LED Sequential Kits and make all four lights sequential.

Asked by: luckydave
It would need to be custom wired, and I'm not sure whether it would work or not.

I see this in the Q&A: Please note that it requires low current draw flasher module, which is sold separately. I see no reference to this in the instructional video for this kit. It only mentions the pink wire for programming

Asked by: Kn1ghtOwl
It might not have been mentioned in the video itself, but it is mentioned in the product description so no one forgets.
