Two Terminal LED Flasher for all 1965, 1966, 1967, 1968 and 1969 Mustangs and 1966, 1967, 1968, 1969, 1970, 1971, 1972, 1973, 1974, 1975, 1976 and 1977 Broncos.

Considering upgrading your 1965-1969 Mustang or your 1966-1977 Bronco to LED parking or tail lights? Don't forget this essential Two Terminal LED Flasher to make everything work properly in your vehicle's electrical system!

This Two Terminal LED Flasher is required when using LED parking lights (PLLED1) and LED tail lights (TLLED12, TLLED13 or TLLED14). When using LEDs, your vehicle's stock flasher mechanism cannot engage properly, due to less heat given off from the LEDs than original bulbs. The two terminal flasher allows your flashers/turn signals to work properly when using LED style lights. Install is simple and easy and your classic Ford's electrical system will work more efficiently.

Please Note: LED parking and tail lights are all sold separately.
Tech Tip: Your 1965-69 Mustang or 1966-1977 Bronco will only require one LED Flasher if you have LED parking lights and tail lights.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from works as expected Needed for LED taillights or parking lights. For parking light installs, you may notice the lights flash like emergency lights regardless of direction you move turn signal. In this case, you need a different bulb connection in your gauge cluster. Check mustang project dot com as they have a simple solution that will get your signals blinking correctly (other sites sell them, too, but no CJ's from what I can tell). Note: orange wire under dash goes into the terminal with an X marked on it...it's a bit hard to see

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Did not work! I purchased this flasher when I installed LED Tail Lights and Front Turn Signal Lights in my 67 Mustang. With the ignition on (engine not running) everything worked fine. When I started the car, the turn signals would not work correctly. They would flash, stop flashing, stay on, turn off, etc. Thinking I might have a bad flasher, I ordered a new one and had the same results. Thinking it might be the ground, I ran the ground wire to two different locations with the same results. As a last resort I went to AutoZone and purchased an light duty flasher. Installed this new flasher and everything works perfect. I might add that this car has a new AAW wiring system.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice! This product is quality and very useful! It's fairly easy to install if you know where to look!(upper left hand of your dash the original one is brass And is mounted on the back of your driver side air vent) this product saved me!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Did not work I purchased this flasher to go with the LED front turn signals that I bought before from CJ. I already had LED on the back and they work great. When I installed the LED on the front they would not work. Both would flash at the same time. So am back to the original bulbs in the front.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Led flasher Easy to install and works well in conjunction with the LED taillights I purchased. I wish the ground wire was a little longer though, it was a little more difficult to find a good place to ground it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy to install, glad I did. I bought this when I bought my LED taillights. It was easy to install and worked perfectly. Nice to have bright working taillights. Doesn't quite fit the bracket that held my old flasher, but no one is going to look behind my vent.

It's not clear to me which wire goes to which terminal on the new flasher. Does it matter which wire from the car goes to which terminal on this new flasher?

Asked by: William
If you plug it in and it doesn't work just reverse the wires.

What is the difference between the function/use of this flasher mechanism and the 'resistor' type RESISTKIT that you offer? Will either option work with LED taillights and regular front lights? ('68 Coupe)

Asked by: Joel
For early cars you can use the flasher, newer cars will use a resistor so the computer doesn't set a warning light.

Just bought this to work with LED lighting conversion. It works great. HOWEVER, I didn't know there was a separate flasher unit for my 4way hazard flashers. Will I need this type for that as well? Also where is the second be hazard flasher located?

Asked by: Mustangdan
Your 1965-69 Mustang or 1966-1977 Bronco will only require one LED Flasher if you have LED parking lights and tail lights.
