These high quality toe links are made in the USA and feature a bearing on 1 side and the stock mounting hardware on the other. By adjusting the center, here, you have 1 full inch of adjustability which will really allow you to dial in the tow on the rear suspension of your 2015 Mustang. For this installation, you'll need a lift or a jack and jack stands, 1/2 inch ratchet, 18 millimeter socket, 21 millimeter socket, 22 millimeter socket, 18 millimeter wrench, torque wrench, a pair of punches or other alignment tools and adjustable wrenches.
The first step of the installation for the Steeda adjustable toe links is going to be to remove the factory one. Before you remove it though, you do want to mark the camber plate on here on the front and back, so we'll put it back in the same orientation when we put the new toe links on. We're going to use a punch and mark this, as well as the frame. Start by removing the nut and bolt from the inside. Here you can see the obvious performance difference for our Steeda toe links versus our factory one, plus the adjustability, as well.
We're going to do those. We want to make it, for now, the same length as the factory one. That'll make it so that it's close alignment-wise, so you can drive it to the alignment shop when you're done. What we'll do here is put something through both ends of the length and then get the distance correct, so just turn this out the distance so that it looks right and then we'll tighten down the lock nut and install. Once everything's tight, we're ready to re-install. Put it up into place, now install the bolt and line it up with the mark we made earlier ... the same thing on the other side, and then we'll tighten it down.
Once everything's tight, we're going to torque to 129 ft-lb. We're going to repeat the process on the other side and your installation's finished. The Steeda adjustable toe links are the perfect choice for dialing in the tow when you lower your 2015 Mustang. The installation is pretty straight forward, take around an hour to do both sides. You want to make sure you do get it aligned after installation. You'll be back on the road in no time.
