Using this Steeda Tri-Ax Short Throw Shifter, the factory steel mounting rail is replaced with a substantial billet beam for more positive location. Upgraded rear mounting bushings are supplied to further reduce deflection under hard shifting. The shifter base, handle, and beam are all CNC machined by Steeda from 6061 aluminum. Its short throws, precise action, and stop-bolts prevent damage to the transmission and linkage under hard usage. Our unique two-position handle height and calibrated internal spring tension assist you in never missing 3rd gear! This last feature is exclusive to the S197 Tri-Ax and not found in any other S197 shifter!

*This will accept your stock knob or a 1979-2004 shift knob with 15mm x 1.75 thread. Most aftermarket knobs for 2005+ will not work.
