This (TCP KCFA1-2) factory-welded firewall-length subframe clip is your ticket to a high performance 1965 or 1966 Mustang. This subframe clip inserts and welds into your factory frame-rail bulkhead. If your original subframe rails are still in good condition and you mostly use your Mustang on the street and in mild performance applications, then this is the choice for you. This clip is perfect for use with G-Machine suspension components.

The included recessed-pocket steel shock tower delete panels will clear up space under the hood for your Coyote engine. For your convenience, the panel edges are pre-drilled for rosette welding to stock inner fenders.

Self-fixturing female slots used with machined male tabs provide an interlocking assembly method that enables A-arm, rack and pinion, and shock mounts to be accurately positioned in all axes. This will ensure that your suspension will properly perform. Non-interlocking designs are not nearly as accurate after welding. The premium spray-arc welding process utilized on this product creates the best weld penetration with excellent appearance.
