Vehicle Fitment

This product will fit the following Mustang years:

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product I bought this part several years ago and installed it on a 68 Fastback. Don't understand why sometimes they can't make a simple part fit right, but this part was exceptional. Not the easiest to put in but was excellent fit and finish with OEM parts against it. If your on the fence, do it, you won't be sorry.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good product bad packaging The only problem I have is the box it came in!! No wrapping paper to protect it. The corners were bent the nose on top was dented. Had to put it in the body shop!!!

The two parts or this kit, are they delivered welded together and is the joint between watertight ? is-it necessary to welded this assemblage to the body car or can it just be glue on body ?

Asked by: Steff
The upper and lower pieces do not come welded together. This must be welded to the car not glued.

Does this come in one piece and spotwelded? Or two pieces?

Asked by: Csdorojan

can any one comment on if I is better to just replace the lower cowl and keep the OEM top to for better alignment ? or will the removal process damage the top valance.

Asked by: someguidance
If you carefully remove the upper cowl it can be reused.

The description only states it's for Mustangs. Is it the exact same cowl as the 67-68 Cougar, or are there some slight variations in dimensions or fitment? In other words, will this fit the 67-68 Cougar also?

Asked by: adventallan
No, this will not fit a cougar.
