Watershield Fastback Set Mustang 1971-1973

While reassembling your Mustang from a full restoration make sure you install the watershields. These watershields play a big part on protecting the interior of your 1971-1973 Fastback Mustang. This watershield set will only work on Fastback Mustangs due to the Fastback only had the two front windows. The watershields go behind the door panels to prevent moisture or water from warping your door panels.

Please Note: The Fastback Watershield set does not include quarter trim panel watershields.

This set of watershields feature the correct cut outs for the door panel clips as well as the cut outs for the door crank post and door panel cups. The black plastic gets mounted facing the exterior door. If you don’t install these watershields moisture could get to the door panels which could collect mold harming yourself or your Mustang.

In older Mustangs especially, the Mustang door panel can look really bad.
