Wilwood Rear Big Brake Kit Superlite 4R With 14" Slotted Rotors Anodized Mustang 2015-2023

This Rear Wilwood Rear Disc Brake Kit is designed for performance-minded S550 owners, who want their Mustangs to stop as quick as they’ll go. This Rear Brake Kit is engineered to match the Front AERO6R/ST Front Race Kits from Wilwood. This Rear Superlite 4R Rear Disc Brake Kit uses forged aluminum bodies with a Type III Mil-Spec, medium Gray Color, hard anodized finish. The Hard anodized finish will provide superior wear resistance in the piston bores, and high resistance to abrasion and corrosion throughout. Thermlock pistons are used to reduce heat transfer from the pads to increase fade resistance, and extend service life by decreasing temperatures in the caliper body, fluid, and seals.

Internal damper springs and controlled retraction, high-temperature piston seals assure consistent pedal height from start to finish. Caliper piston volumes are matched for full compatibility with the OE master cylinder output and ABS controls. The calipers are also fully compatible with manual brake conversions to balance bar pedals using appropriately sized master cylinders. The GT Competition Series Rotors are slotted and have a vane count of 36 per rotor, this will reduce the heat produced when heavy braking is needed. The Wilwood Rear Disc Brake Kit features 14.00” rotors that are dynamically mounted to the OE hubs with weight-saving forged aluminum rotor hats.
