GT and Cobra ground effects on 1987-1993 Ford Mustangs require the use of brackets to attach the pieces to the body of the car. Each side requires two (2) horizontal brackets, two vertical brackets, and one (1) under-door bracket. This is the vertical style bracket that runs on the quarter panel and fender. This bracket is a factory style replacement of the original.

If you're moving your ground effects to have your '87-'93 GT or Cobra painted, or if you're having issues with the ground effects staying in place, many of times these brackets need to be replaced. This bracket's going to be called the vertical bracket, and it's going to take two per side. One's going to mount on the quarter, one mounts to the fender and these actually are screwed to the body and hold the ground effects in place.
These ground effect brackets are sold individually, your Mustang will take two per side or four per car.
