Product Questions

Hello! I have a 1988 ford mustang gt with a carberated 302 automatic tranny and mine is 24" long will this cable fit.   Thanks!

Asked by: mustang88
This is made to fit a stock carburetor with stock bracket, if you are using an aftermarket carb you may have to use a aftermarket throttle cable like a Lokar cable.

Will this cable work with 5spd

Asked by: Dstang15
Only on a 1982 Mustang 5.0. All other years require an auto for this to work.

will this work on a carburated 1984 mercury cougar with a 5.0 ?

Asked by: TonySS409
Most likely not - the Cougar was a good bit different from the Mustang during that era, so we simply haven't tested whether it would work or not.
