Airaid Cold Air Intake System Race-Series MXP With SynthaFlow Filter Mustang 5.0L GT 2011-2014

Airaid Race-Series MXP cold air intake systems are designed to work with other performance modifications to further optimize power and performance on 2011-2014 GT Mustangs with a 5.0L Engine. Because they are intended for use with modified engines, the intakes require a custom tune.

Airaid Race-Series intakes start with a huge 4-1/4" diameter intake tube that optimizes airflow to the engine while optimizing MAF sensor location so the system responds well to custom tuning. The massive tube connects to the engine's throttle body with a high-quality silicone coupler, and to Airaid's exclusive one-piece roto-molded intake box via a "hump hose" that absorbs engine vibrations.

The intake box utilizes all of the factory cold air inlets and seals tightly to the hood with blade-style weather-stripping, which keeps hot engine compartment air away from the filter. Inside the intake box is a massive SynthaFlow oiled 1300-cfm air filter which is washable. The kit includes all stainless steel hardware and clamps as well as complete instructions.
