Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good looking radio with good audio quality Overall I'm satisfied with this product. However, it does not fit a 1967 mustang with console without modification. I had to contact custom autosound, they sent me the part I needed and I bought the rest of the mounting hardware at home depot. In the end it cost me about 2 hours extra to install this radio, the end result is awesome so I definitely do not regret buying this radio.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Custom Autosound retro stereo Is a nice looking unit and installed easy, but has some sound quality issues. Crackles once and awhile and the controls don't always work. Sometimes you cant adjust the volume, or change the station.

Product Questions

is this the look as they were in 1967mustang GT convertible?

Asked by: millertimeinc
Very close. These are designed to replicate the look of the factory radios. With some of the new features these Radios have, it's tough to keep that exact look.

Have a 1970 Ford Mustang Philco brand radio installed,  will not pick up Australian frequency.  Will this radio work or need a frequency modulator.  Will this radio suit.

Asked by: Willibrodus
It accommodates both US and European frequencies, so you should be OK - Australian, I believe, uses a similar setup to the US.

Wouldn't see why not - just plug your car charger into the cigarette lighter.

Is this an exact fit with no cutting or fitting on my 1971 mustang that had an am only radio and does it plug into original power and speaker plugs?

Asked by: rose1
Yes it should fit and attach without issue, provided you have an original setup.

I have a 67 Chevy custom sport truck. Could I wire this up to work in my truck?

Asked by: Waytoobigwang69
Maybe. We really only test these on Mustangs, so we can't say one way or the other if it would work.
