Rated 3 out of 5 by from Custom Autosound retro stereo Is a nice looking unit and installed easy, but has some sound quality issues. Crackles once and awhile and the controls don't always work. Sometimes you cant adjust the volume, or change the station.

Is this product any good in Australia

Asked by: Bruno76
It accommodates both US and European frequencies, so you should be OK - Australian, I believe, uses a similar setup to the US.

Is there a difference between the USA 2 and the USA 230

Asked by: joh67
I assume you mean the USA-2 and USA-630? There isn't any USA-230. The USA-630 is a fuller featured radio, with modern technology, more connectors, and more capability than the USA-2, which is more of a basic radio, with the only modern addition being an aux input.

It's designed to replace your old radio, so it will fit where the old one was.

Just got a USA 230 radio for our 69 Mustang, directions refer to an orange wire (memory back-up orange wire B+), however, there is no orange wire on unit. Do we just ignore the reference to the orange wire and hook-up the rest of the wires?

Have a 1970 Ford Mustang Philco brand radio installed,  will not pick up Australian frequency.  Will this radio work or need a frequency modulator.  Will this radio suit.

Asked by: Jim 123

I haven't decided on a radio yet, but this one looks like it will work with a console. The write-up doesn't say console, but the knob extensions look long. Does this fit 68 fastback with console please?
