Lokar's Kickdown Cables are PTFE-lined cables, which are made with an extruded liner for extended life. They also feature aluminum fittings and ferrules to eliminate frayed ends. This makes them adaptable to all types of manifolds including tunnel ram, blower manifolds, and multiple-carburetor systems. Instructions included in kit.

Product Questions

Does the installation of the Lokar kickdown kit on a 65 with a C-4 also require the installation of their cable throttle?  Can the stock Mustang throttle linkage be retained?

Asked by: JGZ2
This is a standalone installation. You don't need any other parts to make this work.

When I bought my 66 mustang I didn't know the Kickdown rod wasn't connected. is there more parts for me to buy for the Kickdown to work than just the Lokar c4 kickdown cable?

Asked by: BillyB
Without knowing your Mustang, it's hard to say. This could be all you need, but if there's more disconnected, you could need more parts to get back working again.
