Product Description

Chrome 18"x9" Bullitt Wheel for all 1994, 1995, 1996, 1997, 1998, 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003 and 2004 Mustangs.

Update your Mustang's appearance with the addition of the iconic Bullitt wheel. This 18" x 9" Chrome Bullitt wheel will greatly change the exterior of your Mustang and give your vehicle that classic Muscle car look.

The 18"x9" Bullitt wheel has five wide rounded spokes that extends from the center out to the barrel of the wheel. Once the cast aluminum wheel is constructed, it is then plated in a chrome finish for a bright shine that catches people’s attention. A strong lip steps up to meet the spokes on the barrel of the wheel. The difference in lip size really accents staggered wheel sizes.

I have a base model 1999 Ford Mustang with a V6 engine. It has original rims and the tire size is 205/65R15. The rims I am considering at 18" x 9". Are the larger rims going to interfere with body clearance? Will the speedometer and odometer be affected?

Asked by: strongman2000
As long as you are running an 18x9" wheel with the correct offset and backspacing design for a 1994-2004 Mustang, you will not have any body clearance issues. And on a 18x9" wheel you have the ability to run tire sizes that will keep nearly the same outside diameter as your original tire. This will keep your speedometer and odometer accurate. You could do 18x9" Wheels all around with either 255/35-18 Tires at all four corners or still do the 18x9" Wheels but use 255/35-18 up front with 275/35-18 in the rear.

hi can you help me out I don't under stand all the information on the wheel size what do the backspacing mean and the offset mean as I am looking in to buying some new wheels thank you. Colin

Asked by: colin
Backspacing is the measurement from the back of the wheel to the mounting surface of the wheel. Offset is the measurement from the centerline of the wheel to the mounting surface of the wheel. As long as you have a 1994-2004 Mustang you do not need to worry about those measurements, this has the correct backspace and offset to fit your Mustang.
