*For 1965-1966, 225/45-17 tires are recommended with 17x7” wheels but will require modifications for correct fit. For 1967-1968, 235/45-17 tires are recommended with 17x7” wheels. For 1969-1973, 245/45-17 tires are recommended with 17x7” wheels.
Inspired by traditional hot rod wheels, this Old School Wheel features the classic 5 spoke pattern and fits most original 5-lug 1965-1973 Mustangs. For a lighter weight and increased durability, this wheel is made using a one-piece design from cast aluminum with a chrome finish, putting them above and beyond traditional steel alternatives. For your convenience and a hassle-free installation, this wheel will clear most modern brake upgrades and accommodates original equipment backspacing. It comes with a chrome center cap with the B/G Rod Works logo for added flare. You can purchase this wheel (P/N: OS 770-5114-00 C) individually or as a set of four.
Please Note: This B/G Rod Works wheel requires small diameter, tuner style lug nuts which are available here at CJ Pony Parts. Larger OEM style lug nuts will NOT work.
Tech Tip: Even though these wheels are intended to fit most 5-lug 1965-1973 Mustangs with the original 5 x 4.5" bolt pattern and 4.00" of backspacing. It is a general rule of thumb, you should always measure and verify clearance before ordering aftermarket wheels, as modifications may, or will be necessary for fitment on your classic Mustang.
