The aluminum radiator offers better cooling than your standard copper core radiator. This Scott Drake radiator will fit all 1965-1966 Mustangs with a V8 engine.
Scott Drake designed this aluminum radiator 259-2AL with an exclusive baffle at the top to help evenly distribute the flow of hot water across the upper part of the radiator. This aluminum radiator is 100-percent fully tig welded. The inlet and outlet on the radiator are located on the same side. Scott Drake also includes a built in petcock on the lower driver side of the radiator.

Scott Drake's aluminum 2-row radiator features extra-large 1" tubes for 4-row efficiency, but with 5-7 lbs. less weight. The original radiators had a serious problem distributing the hot water to the far right side of the radiator. Scott Drake has tested their design and recorded significant changes in the temperatures across the radiator's cooling tubes.
