Representing the next generation of intercoolers, this Bladerunner GT intercooler utilizes a 3” bar and plate core design outflows the OE tube and fin core design by up to 20 percent. For extreme strength and durability that incorporates aFe’s Multi-Directional Vane (MDV) technology, 3/16” TIG-welded end tanks are used. Unlike your OE model, you won’t have to worry about condensation as aFe has included a CNC-machined vent tube that uses a solid NPT plug for periodic draining.

This Bladerunner GT Intercooler is clocked performing at 95% efficiency. During testing (at 70 degrees), this intercooler dropped the temperature of the outflow to 77 degrees, a staggering 14 degree drop from the factory intercooler. The MDV technology used in the Bladerunner GT Intercooler directs airflow through the entire intercooler core allowing for increased airflow and cooling capacity. Use of the bar and plate core design allows for greater airflow and increased heat dissipation over the much smaller tube and fin design used by stock intercoolers.

This Bladerunner GT Intercooler uses dual 2-1/4" billet aluminum inlets and a 3" outlet for increased strength and durability. Pressure test rated at 200psi makes this intercooler from aFe the perfect for high boost applications.

To eliminate the condensation issue that often occurs in stock intercoolers, a 1/8" NPT brass breather vent, which allows condensation to drain from the intercooler, is used.
