Camshafts & Valve Train

Adding a new camshaft to your Ford Bronco will keep your engine's valves open longer for maximum power and sound. By letting more air in, you can get increased horsepower and torque at higher RPM.

A performance camshaft from Edelbrock or COMP Cams will give you more power in the optimized RPM range. Camming your Bronco will also give it a unique exhaust note and a distinct, loping idle sound.

A camshaft install is likely to warrant a new timing chain and accessories. You may also need new lifters, valve springs, and phasers, depending on how aggressive your new cam is.
