I bought this to top end kit for a 351 windsor going into a 1971 ford f100 2 wheel drive. Looking for options for long tube and short headers that would work well with the exhaust ports on the RPM Performer heads and fit the truck. Suggestions?

Asked by: Dlux
Sorry we do not offer headers for your application. I would suggest a set of shorty square port headers for a 351w but I cant guarantee they would fit.

It will work 1996 efi 351w bronco?

Asked by: Binomar13
Yes, It will work on your engine, but no way intended for a 1996 Bronco with EFI, sorry. Maybe if I explain it would not work with EFI or the ECU Computer, and any Electronics on the vehicle, it fits your engine, but it will not work on a Bronco.

With the edelbrock 2092 top end kit for a 351W what size Edelbrock carburetor should I use a 750cm? Also will I need a high flow or bigger performance water pump and oil pump and fuel pump?

Asked by: jb60
Thank you for your question today, Yes, a 750 cfm carburetor is the absolute smallest you should use, for optimum performance Edelbrock developed this kit using their 800 cfm carburetor, Edelbrock high flow water pump 8843, Edelbrock fuel pump 1725, sorry Edelbrock does not offer oil pumps....

on the 351W with the 2092 top end kit with a FMX cruise omatic A/T if I am street driving and cruising what rear end gear ratio would work well with the 2092 top end kit ?

Asked by: jb60
Thank you for your question today on the 4th of July, Edelbrock typically recommends to use a rear gear ratio of 3.70 or numerically lower, you will also need to use a stall speed torque converter around 2,400-2,500 rpm stall, which will work very well, as the Ford FMX Transmissions have a manual automatic valve body from the factory, enjoy....

with a 69 351w I have a A/T FMX cruise omatic trans. The rear end gears are 3.25 if I install the 2092 top end kit I know I need a bigger stall converter for street cruising what rear end gear ratio should i use to make the top end kit perform?

Asked by: jb60
That would depend on what type of driving you plan on doing. Strip or street or a combination?
