Through the gauge face, all HDX Series Instrument Systems include LED-lit on-board capacitive touch push-buttons. These push-buttons provide quick and consistent access to all functions, whether you’re in driving mode or while in the setup menu. Button-press feedback is available through the included buzzer or through the TFT Message Center. Remote mounted switches can be connected to the HDX system if this proves more accessible based around seating position. Suitable for Android and Apple devices, the HDX Series can also be completely configured through the Bluetooth app for Android or Apple devices. Using your existing tablet or smart phone, download the free app, sync your device to the HDX system and enjoy quick and convenient menu navigation and real time gauge readouts.

Additionally, a micro-controlled precision stepper motor is included as well as, laboratory-grade, solid state sensors that produce incredibly efficient readings. These sensors are primarily for water temperature, oil pressure and the speedometer pulse generator. The speedometer flips your mechanical speedometer cable to digital and is fully programmable for various tire sizes, rear-end gearing and more. The water temperature and oil pressure sensors have 1/8" NPT sensors along with bushings to adapt to 1/4", 3/8" and 1/2" NPT. The other displays will work equally well with your OEM or aftermarket sensors. The needle hub is black nickel plated spun-aluminum to match the buttons. This set features dead-faced indicators (turn signals, high beam, check engine, cruise control, parking brake, plus two user-definable), and a red, settable warning light for each gauge.
