Dynacorn's full quarter panels have been made to cover the same amount of area as the originally installed quarter panels on your 1971-1973 Convertible Mustang. Extending from the interior of the door jamb, and wrapping around the back of the Mustang to the attaching point with the rear taillight panel and quarter panel extensions. The quarter panel goes over the top body line to the base of the roof and includes the proper side trunk drain channel.

Weld-Thru primer is used with this Driver side quarter panel in order to eliminate the possibilities of having corrosion form in between the welded substrates. The primer also enhances the adhesion and durability of topcoats after the quarter panel has been painted. Finally, the primer helps during the welding of the quarter panel to prevent heat transfer that can sometimes cause warping or ripples to run through the quarter panel and reduces spatter during the welding process.
