The OEM-style fitment of this kit ensures it’s a flawless fit for your engine, giving it the proper structural rigidity. It also features a 5.7-quart sump capacity, which reaches a maximum of 6.2 quarts when combined with the oil filter. Get it with either a satin, polished, or black finish to add extra personality to your engine bay.

The kit is a perfect match for the OEM dipstick and dipstick tube. It also works with the GM “F-Body” windage tray, which is identified as GM 12558253. Plus, the internal rotating assembly in the front half of the pan uses the LS1 oil pan pattern, further emphasizing its authenticity to the OE design. Don’t feel pressured to use the original filter though, as the kit works with standard, off-the-shelf filters like part number M1-113 from Mobil.

Additional Notes:
- Not intended for use with engines that originally used a dry sump system.
- Other windage trays may be used with the kit, but some modifications to the tray may be required.
- There are LS engine applications that have a plug installed in the dipstick hole location to be used with this oil pan. This plug will need to be removed before the oil pan is installed on the engine to allow the installation of the proper dipstick tube.
- The kit’s universal pan may not directly fit chassis without slight adjustment to engine location. The engine may need to be adjusted for the cross member, steering linkage clearance, steering configuration, and chassis type.
