As you're restoring your classic 1965-1970 Mustang, you're probably coming across a lot of rusted metal parts, especially on the floor. Sometimes you might need to replace the entire floor pan, but other times you might need to replace only the toe board. If that's the case, you should definitely check out this Floor to Firewall Extension!

This Driver Side Floor to Firewall Extension measures 18" x 22". Sometimes referred to as a "toe board," it connects the front of your floor pan to the bottom of your firewall, and it's included with the firewall panel too. After you're done installing this, your Mustang's floor will be more stable, and you'll be one step closer to a fully restored 'Stang.

Please Note: This Floor to Firewall Extension will require slight modifications to fit 1967-1970 Mustangs.

We’re here with a driver side floor to firewall extension fitting your 1965 through 1970 Mustang. The floor to firewall extension is also known as the toe-board and is a very commonly rusted out part on your 1965 through 1970 Mustang. This piece is going to go from the front of your floor pan and extend up to your firewall. If you have a leaky cowl many times the bottom edges will get rotted out. This will fit 1965 through 1970 Mustangs. It will require some modifications for 1967 through 1970 or any 1965 through 1966 that has had a torque box added to it. When installed on a car with torque boxes we do recommend cutting out the toe-board around the torque box so you don't have metal on metal which can cause condensation and rust in the future. Matching passenger side is also available.
