Ford Performance Clutch Kit 11" For Tremec Extra Heavy Duty Transmission Mustang V8 1996-2004

Since you installed a Tremec Extra HD Transmission to handle more power, use an adequate clutch kit like this one. Ford Performance offers this 11" clutch kit for any 1996-2004 Mustang equipped with a 4.6L engine and Tremec Extra HD Transmission that features a 26 spline input shaft.

The Ford Performance clutch kit is able to handle more power than a stock clutch while remaining street-friendly. The included diaphragm style pressure plate features a centrifugal assist design. With 25% more torque capacity than the Cobra's production pressure plate, this kit can handle much more power than the factory clutch. 

The clutch disc contains a carbon/copper lining on the flywheel side and carbon lining on the pressure plate side. A sprung hub provides shock absorption and smooth operation. With a slightly thinner construction, a quicker release is achieved to put power to the ground faster.

Ford Performance designed this clutch kit specifically for the Tremec Extra HD Transmission to produce the best performance available from your drivetrain. The stock style pilot bearing and throwout bearing are required but not included.

- This clutch fits 1996-2004 V8 Mustangs with M7003R58C and M7003R58H.
