Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good product: Not so good instructions! I bought this a month ago and was happy the CJ Pony had the kit in stock. The item itself is a quality product, but what it lacks is good application instructions. The picture is vague and really leaves you scratching your head for what goes where in the heater box. Additional pictures (or actual photos online of where the pieces go) would be a big plus. The other item missing is the method for applying the foam. Could a specific adhesive (spray or non-spray) be used? would something that contained a solvent in it affect the foam? I had to try a few options on a spare piece until I got it right. This would have been nice to know upfront, or include the best adhesive to use on the website.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Must-buy kit for heater rebuilds I had to replace my firewall insulation, so I figured that I may as well rebuild the heater box as well. Good thing, too, as the seals in my heater box looked to have been nonexistent since the 80s. Make sure to use spray adhesive, and be very careful to not shatter the fiberglass heater box when you reinstall the components. Also, the CJs instructions were fantastic; couldn't have done this install without them.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Heater Seal Kit - Good Review The seal kit was good although the description didn't alert that some type of adhesive would be needed. I assumed (incorrectly) that each piece would have had "peel and stick" pieces. Thankfully I had a can of spray adhesive in stock. Time will tell if the pieces stay in place. The drawing could have been better detailed as to where some of the pieces fit. Otherwise, the fit was good and product was acceptable.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice fit Rebuilt my 66 heater box using these. Fit well and everything needed was in the kit. Using spray adhesive to secure the seals isn't much fun, be nice if there was a way for the part to come with an adhesive back. Still all in all a great product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice fit redid my heater box so now no more drafts and the air is circulated to it's selected port.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Everything fits Instructions are a little hard to follow, especially if all your previous gaskets are long gone like mine were. But with a little deduction you can figure it out. If you are getting heat on your feet in the summer, this is the fix. Also you will find lots of crud in the box that is good to clean out.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very good and complete kit I am very happy about this kit. The installation is very easy! We have a document to install all components, nice when we need to put parts on very old heater as my 66 Mustang! There was nothing in the box! So now adding heater core aluminium my heater is working very well! :)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent product All of the foam parts are covered with this kit. The diagram shows where all the parts are located in the blower. The only drawback they don't show you is there is no adhesive on these parts. I had my own 3M spray glue I used. Worked perfectly.
