CJ Classics is now producing an all-metal cowl induction hood for your 87-93 Mustang, that uses all the same stock mounting points for a direct swap with no hood pins required.
Features an open rear cowl to allow heat to escape, helping lower underhood temperatures. Includes metal bracing on the underside of the hood for additional strength and support.

With the interior upgrades of our project black pearl just about finished, now, it's time to concentrate on the exterior so we can get this car ready for Mustang week this year. The first thing I'm gonna do is get rid of this ugly-ass, dented, factory hood.
We're not gonna bore you with the installation details for a hood as it's very, very simple to do. You're gonna remove the catch, remove the latch here, unplug it, remove the bolts, and throw the stock hood aside.
The hood I decided to go with on my 1990 LX is the two-inch cowl from CJ Classics. The nice thing about this hood ... this is a metal, cowl induction hood. So, it's gonna be a direct replacement for the factory hood, uses all the factory hardware, the factory latch ... and because it's a metal hood, it also will not require hood pins. It has the same inner structure, making it a direct replacement, but it gives you that classic cowl look that I love on the Fox Body Mustang.
