Ken Harrison Radio Speaker In-Dash Upgrade 1965-1966 is rated 1.5 out of 5 by 11.
Rated 2 out of 5 by from Poorly designed I purchased this speaker anticipating that it would fit right in place of the original. Unfortunately, the unit does not fit well with or without the dash pad being in place. I had to remount one of the speakers so the terminals were not directly contacting the metal. I found out the hard way. The original speaker and defroster duct grill does not fit well with this speaker in place. When I have more time I am going to remove the speakers from the preformed board and, somehow, mount them in the original location so the grill will fit properly. Purchase at your own risk.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not a replacement This will not replace a factory speaker. It sits too high and wont allow the defrost grill to be put back on properly. Im sure the actual speakers are fine but in a nut shell it wont fit. I bought on the advise of a salesman on the phone when I was ordering other things. Its getting returned. The only thing I have gotten from CJ that didnt fit.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Terrible Fit I bought these speakers because my daughter really wanted a nice stereo sound. It doesn't fit at all and shorts out against the metal dash. The defrost grill doesn't fit over it either. This one was a bust. Maybe I can use the speakers in another location. Please stop offering this product CJ. I've been very happy with all my other purchases.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from doesn't come close to fitting I know aftermarket parts don't always fit right but i was surprised that this speaker won't fit at all, its too wide, too long and too tall, would require cutting into a pristine original dash. I recommend the aftermarket kick panel and speaker set. I can always put the original kick panels back in. as for the dash speaker...its just an empty hole now.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Speaker fitment I agree with another posting is which this item should be removed from inventory. Does not fit and would need alot of trimming to install. Grille will not fit overtop and magnets hit metal dash, all the many items i have purchased this is the only one i had a problem with. Poor design. Would not reccomend to others at all.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Not at all a drop in retrofit. Mounting plate did not fit. Speakers did not fit even with effort to install on old mounting board. This was on a 65 Mustang coupe. It was necessary to modify the dashe sheet metal and fabricate a mounting board. The sound fidelity was inadequate on bass and treble frequencies.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Sucks thinking or not I thought this would fit right in the factory hole. No as others in the review it sits to high, wires touch the dash metal. I want to return it. Next time read the reviews before buying.
