Vehicle Fitment

This product will fit the following Mustang years:

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fit perfect Was prepared to fabricating my owne,Glad I didn't. This piece takes the guess work out of tale shaft alignment and it looks like it belongs under the car. Also there is no worry about exhaust clearance.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Needed a lot of modification to work properly Good quality construction. But...my car is a no-hit car with a very straight frame. Yet, even with loosening all the motor mount bolts, this mount would not allow the trans to be mounted with sufficient clearance between the mount and the tranny. I had to pull the tranny out twice, get the dremel out and clean up the openings on the side of the mount, provide clearance.

I have removed automatic and have installed a t5. The original crossmember does not have enough drop so t5 is hitting the underside of the floor. Can you tell me what the drop is of this mount ? The drop i have now is 2". Thanks 1968 Mustang.

Asked by: 6mustang8
This would be the correct crossmember for a t-5 conversion for your year mustang.

Just making sure this part will fit my 1973 Mach 1

Asked by: john814
As long as you are doing a T-5 Conversion, you should be fine. I'm not seeing any exceptions listed from the manufacturer regarding the Mach 1 Chassis.
