Install Difficulty:
- Easy Project
1. The Mustang Scott Drake C6DZ-10804-EADJ Constant Voltage Regulator is used to supply reliable, constant 5VDC to the instrument cluster gauges. The signs of a faulty constant voltage regulator include fluctuating or inoperable gauges.

2. To begin installing the new constant voltage regulator, remove the instrument cluster by removing five screws and the wiring harness plugs.

3. Identify the constant voltage regulator on the rear of the Mustang instrument cluster.

4. Note the location and colors of the wiring before removing the old regulator. The wiring locations must match on the new regulator. For the Scott Drake regulator, the “J1” (male) terminal is the 12 VDC supply and the “J3” (female) terminal is the regulated output terminal.

5. Remove the wiring and the 11/32” retaining nut from the original regulator and replace it with the new regulator, then connect all the wiring.

6. Reinstall the instrument cluster. You've just completed installing your new Mustang Scott Drake Constant Voltage Regulator.
