This Door Sill Plate fits Coupe and Fastback 1965-1968 Mustangs.
These door sill plates are inexpensive and very simple to install. They can add a bright, new look when compared to the old, scratched and scuffed door sill plates that are being replaced. If you are planning to replace the carpet in your Mustang, make sure to take the opportunity to replace the door sill plates to complete the upgrade!

1. Here is your new Mustang Door Sill Plate. Door sill plates come in various versions, such as Ford Tooling, stainless, Scott Drake or lighted.

2. Remove the existing sill plate. Check the condition of any Mustang electrical wiring underneath and clean up the area if needed.

3. You may need Mustang oversize sill plate screws if the screw holes have worn and won't hold the standard screw. Each sill plate takes nine screws, so be sure to order enough. You may be able to use some of the regular size for the screw holes that aren't oversize.

4. Using a Phillips screwdriver, install the nine screws on each of the Mustang door sill plates. The sill plates are reversible and fit either side of the car.

5. Add the decals and installation of your new Mustang Door Sill Plate is complete! They are a big improvement for very little time, money and effort.
