I have a 1966 Coupe with standard steering (not power). Will this kit work with the existing steering column / box? The existing steering has some play in it also.

I have a 6 cylinder 66 convertible with manual steering that I am converting to an 8 cylinder. I will be purchasing all the front suspension pieces to convert in to an 8 cylinder including the spindles. Will I need to modify steering column?
