Are you noticing that the suspension on your 1967-1973 Mustang is having some problems? Maybe your Pony isn't handling as well as it used to, or maybe you're replacing the strut rods and need some new bushings? If any of this applies to you, you should definitely pick up this Prothane Polyurethane Strut Rod Bushings Kit from CJ Pony Parts!

This Prothane 6-1205 BL Polyurethane Strut Rod Bushings Kit comes with bushings that will be direct fit replacements for your old, cracked rubber bushings. However, these bushings are made out of polyurethane, which is firmer and more durable than rubber. These bushings offer a perfect fit every time, and they'll provide the rigidity you're looking for.

Please Note: This strut rod bushings kit does not include washers. You can re-use your originals.

The performance capabilities of Prothane polyurethane provide a great ride comfort that supports your Mustang without the harshness or resonance that can often be associated with the use of solid metal bushings.

I purchased this kit for my 1967 fastback however I've been reading about Mustang owners who claim that prothane bushings stress the strut rods and lead to breakage. Is there any truth to this? I'd like to retain the stock set up.

Asked by: Craig
You should use the rubber factory replacement bushings if you are using the original strut rods.
