Vehicle Fitment

This product will fit the following Mustang years:

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fits 4R70W/AODE This Crossmember will fit a 4R70W/AODE. I am swapping a 4R70W into a 1967 Cougar, and there really isn't much information on what crossmembers will fit. The 4R70W/AODE is roughly 1" longer between the engine and the end of the transmission pan than the AOD, which caused interference with another tubular style crossmember that I had tried. I decided to give this crossmember a shot due to its thin profile and aggressive turn rearward at the chassis mouting point. The result is that it clears the rear of the pan by about 2", and clears the right side of the case by about 1/4".
