This long base is designed to cover the factory paint lines along with the original mirror mounting holes. This mirror is designed after the 1965-1966 Mustang mirrors. Scott Drake offers the mirrors to fit all 1965-1970 Mustangs with no problem. The mirrors are made from zinc die cast and finished with a high polished chrome finish. Scott Drake includes the base pad along with mounting hardware to make installation a breeze.

Please Note: The mirror base measures 6-9/16" overall length and is 6" from center of the hole to center of the hole. This mirror is for 1967-1968 Mustang owners that want a round mirror which is styled after the 1965-1966 Mustang.
