It features extra-large, 1-inch tubes for 4-row efficiency minus the added bulk and weight, weighing in at 5-7 fewer pounds. The original, stock radiator for 1967-1969 Mustangs with a 289, 302 or 351W engine and air conditioning had trouble distributing the hot water to the far-right side of the radiator. This radiator, however, is equipped with Scott Drake’s specially designed, extensively tested baffle, which works to dispense the flow of hot water throughout the radiator evenly. Aluminum radiators are known to cool even better than larger, copper-core radiators. Improved cooling means improved and longer-lasting performance. This radiator includes a transmission cooler.
