This Ultra Bright Sequential LED Tail Light Kit is an excellent way to increase your Mustang's visibility as you're driving down the road: each light has 90 LEDs for a total of 180 LEDs! These tail lights will shine brighter than your factory lights. But you don't have to worry about them sequencing when you hit the brakes because they come with a special flasher unit with patented "Smart Signal" technology that tells the lights not to sequence when you hit the brakes. However, it'll tell the lights to sequence when you use your turn signals! Their white board design creates greater reflectivity and light output too! You can use your Mustang's original lenses when you install this kit since these LED lights will run cooler than standard incandescent bulbs. You'll get two tail lights total with your order, which will be enough for both sides of your Mustang. You'll also get detailed instructions and all of the hardware you'll need to install them. You won't need to worry about adding any additional wirings or making any other modifications to install these either! As a matter of fact, you can probably have these new tail lights installed in about 30 minutes or so.

This Kit Includes:
- Two (2) Tail Light Modules (90 LEDs per Side)
- One (1) Flasher Module
- Complete Illustrated Instructions

Please Note: This kit does not include tail light bezels, lenses or bodies.

This product will fit the following Mustang years:

Rated 5 out of 5 by from These are cool! This was extremely easy to install and took less than a hour. The video installation sums everything up nicely. The new LED lights are very bright and give me piece of mind when driving around. but in the video it says to place the new flasher on top of the steering column, I did this but then I had to bleed my brakes, while bleeding the brakes the pedal crushed the flasher. I was able to get a new one and installed it somewhere else, just something to keep in mind if you purchase this kit and need to bleed brakes.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sequential signal works great but I modified mount This install which should be simple kinda isn't. The twist in base that should replace bulb has very short metal contact and the original bulbs had nice round thick electrical connections for the socket so these tiny ones become a source of poor connection... As well as it then allowed easier movement of the base that should be holding the LED board in place. I drilled through housing right next to socket and put grommet in for the power wires then epoxied the mount base in solving moving problem. Once we got rid of the connection issues these worked perfectly.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Product has some issues. Had to return first shipment. Left unit was defective. The green wire for left turn signal was not soldered into plug. Second unit likewise had issues with the left turn signal, After some modifications I was able to get it to work. Tail lights are much brighter and should provide greater safety on the highway. Quality of unit for the price paid, I would rate poor. Can't really make a strong recommendation.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Super happy with these lights. Just installed them, easy install and super bright. The relay clicks (sound) like a normal tempo signal, but the lights on the dash stay on about two-three times longer to allow the sequence to complete. Just takes a few minutes to get used to seeing the indicator light staying on longer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Brighter Lights Bought kit for my 65 and liked them so I got a set for the 66; I waited for the sale and with my reward points, it was a pretty good deal.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great feature. This is a great way to make you classic car appear modern without changing the classic appearance. Simple to install and worth it's weight in gold. The led lights won't burn out or fade.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Simple upgrade for safety...and cool It really is simple to install. They are much brighter than factory bulbs, and sequential taillights on a 66 make it stand out from the crowd. Took away a star only because it bugs me a little to hear the blinker relay blinking much faster than the lights are blinking, and there isn't a solid break between individual lights. Picky...I know.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Exceeded expectations I was pleased with the packaging, instructions, and small parts packet with this kit. This kit was an easy install. The sequential feature is eye catching and stop lights are much brighter than expected. The turn signal indicators act normally, and the flasher unit is audible to my liking. I had a reservation about availability of the 3 wire flasher, as it is unavailable as a stand alone item. However the Scott Drake flasher is said to be compatible. The one warranty also helped put my concerns to rest.

You do not need front leds. Is the flasher the kit comes with grounded. Is the car running when the turn signal is used.

Installed these on my Dad's 65 mustang recently. Running lights and turn signal sequencing work fine but no brakes at all when headlights are on or off. Any ideas what is causing this? The original lights worked fine. Thanks.

Asked by: Rhino
Double check all wiring. Check for power at the socket when the brakes are applied. If there is power than there could be a faulty ground. I doubt both lights would be defective.

Hi, my regulator and alternator was too heavy overloaded this weekend, and my flasher for led could not take the peak from alternator. it’s dead, but everything else is working. Is it possible to order only that unit?, The number at the relay is CF13JL-02

Just bought this sequential LED light kit for my '66. Won't be installed until springtime. Car has stock parking lights and four way flasher. Do these need to be changed out?

Asked by: Jimbo
The stock flasher will need to be changed to the one that comes in the kit. The front parking lights can stay.

I purchased this unit on 09/05/2016 and it has been functioning fine until last month. On three occasions the unit has stopped working, the indicator light in the dash doesn't illuminate. If I turn the ignition off and then back on all is fine.

Asked by: gtcob
Have checked all wiring, joints are tight. ammeter check showed no fault. I have installed a switch on the circuit prior to flasher so I can cut power to unit without having to turn engine off, will run with this until fault becomes more frequent. Can you advise cost of flasher unit and freight to Brisbane Queensland, Australia.

I have a 69 Mustang.  I've always loved the sequential lights but they were not put in this year.  My mustang is a driver, not a show car, would I be able to wire your kit in a 69?
