Truck Bed Jammock Silverado 2007-We're gonna show you how to replace the tail lights on your fox body Mustang.

These tail light housings are gonna be reproductions of the original ones found in your 1987 through 1993 Mustang LX, but they'll fit any 1983 through 1993 mustang.

This is a complete housing, so it'll include both the body, the seals, and new replacement lenses, and a great way to freshen up the rear of your mustang.

For this instillation you need a 3/8 ratchet, 7/16 deep socket, and a Phillips head screw driver.

Now obviously, our 1990 LX here is gonna need some paint, and we do have that planned for the future, but out factory tail lights have stress cracks in them, and they're so faded, they actually barely passed inspection. There's also some cracks over here. So, we're gonna install our new lights, definitely give it a fresher look and look much better when the car is actually painted.

The process to install the tail lights on all three models starts in the trunk. What we're gonna do, basically you gotta remove these panels, all held in by Phillips head screws. Remove all three panels so we can access the nuts on the back of the tail lights.

So, the first thing we're gonna do here is remove all of the plugs to the tail lights, then remove the six nuts that hold to the bodies, and we're gonna remove the factory housing.

Alright, now we're gonna put our new tail light into place. Just simply line it up, push it through the holes, and reinstall the original hardware.

Alright, the light bolted down, now we're gonna reinstall the original bulbs. Obviously, also an excellent time to replace any worn out bulbs or upgrade to LED if you wanted to.

When you're putting new lights in, you also wanna make sure the foam seals came off the old tail light, 'cause you'll need them to seal them up properly in the new one.

If you have the lights connected, you wanna double check everything works, they you can reinstall all your panels.

Once the panels are back in place, you're gonna pull the carpet down, and your instillation's finished.

Now, obviously, our project car still needs a paint job, but the tail lights look a million times better. They're much cleaner for the back end of the car, and especially when the car gets painted, they're gonna look like a million bucks back here.

As far as the instillation goes, again, pretty straight forward. This is a less than an hour install, you'll be back on the road in no time. 2018 Installation
