This console extends from the back of your front seats to the dash. TMI included two cup holders, a hole for your automatic or manual shifter and a cubbyhole at the front.

Features and Benefits:
- Extended Upgrade from your Stock Original
- Two Cup HOlds
- Custom Designed for Automatic or Manual Shifter
- Center-to-Front Console Chrome Trim
- Premium French-Seam Stitching
- Plush Fold-Back Armrest and Console Pad

*TMI's full length consoles will not work with 1965 and 1966 Mustangs with air conditioning systems. Air conditioning units attach to the bottom of the dash and will interfere with the front of the console which goes up to the bottom of the dash.
*Years listed after color options show what year(s) that color was correct for. All colors will fit both 1965 and 1966 Mustangs.
*The first color listed is the color of the console base below the trim as well as the cup holder insert and console pad. The second color is on the console base above the chrome trim.

Deluxe consoles include chrome trim that runs along both sides from the center of the console compartment to the front of the console. High quality French-seam stitching creates a clean modern look throughout the console. A plush fold-back arm rest/console pad includes a map pocket, hidden console pad hinge and storage compartment underneath. Below the storage compartment is another hidden compartment. The console simply rests on the transmission tunnel with no modifications needed! This simple interior addition will update your classic Mustang with a unique look and add much wanted cup holders and extra compartments.

Please Note: The TMI Full Length Center Console will have the Shifter Hole Cut out in the Fiberglass, but will require the Vinyl on top of the Full Length Center Console to be cut by the customer.

A while back we showed you a prototype of a full-length console TMI was designing for '64-'68 Mustangs. Production models are now available in all your standard interior colors, your two-tone deluxe interior colors, as well as the Sport R seen here. We already have the Sport R upholstery, as well as suede headliner on our Weekend Wrench, and we feel this console is going to be the perfect way to finish off our interior.

Shown here is a '64-'66 deluxe console. All deluxe consoles will have this chrome trim going around the edges here. The '65 -'66 will be two-tone to match the Pony interior. The '67-'68 will all be solid colors to match your deluxe interior. All of TMI's full-length consoles have the exact same features, in the front a nice: deep storage pocket that can be removed. You can install a doubled-in stereo. They have a cutout that will fit both a manual or automatic shifter, a pair of deep cup holders, and in the back a large storage bin with a pocket in the back for a map and removable storage.

The console fits really tight to our transmission tunnel as well, as under the dash, so to install it, it's going to require us to remove our shifter. If you have an automatic, there's going to be a retaining bolt in the back of the T handle. Remove the T handle first, then you remove the bolt for the handle. In the case of our 3-speed, there's only two 1/2" bolts to hold the shifter to the transmission, that we're going to need to remove to remove our shifter. You also want to check under the dash in this area here to make sure there are no bolts or ground sticking out that could damage the console when you install it.

We'll slide our boot up out of the way. We're going to push it forward to access the rear bolt. Get it down into place between the seats. Simply slide it forward. It is a tight fit, like I said, under the dash. Give it a couple bumps, get it lined up with our shifter opening. We're going to reinstall our shifter. And our installation's finished.

Our TMI full-length console looks great and gives us all the amenities you'd find in a modern console. Installation is straightforward, and takes about 10 to 15 minutes. You'll be back on the road in no time.
