TCP Bump Steer Kit Includes:
- Adjustable outer tie rod ends
- Shim spacers
- Billet-steel adjuster sleeves

Most evident on rough road surfaces, during hard cornering or under heavy braking, bump steer is the change in toe, or left to right angle, as the suspension moves through its range of motion. Toe is measured by the difference in the track width of the leading edge and trailing edge of a set of tires. Up to 3/8 inch of toe change can be experienced when your suspension is moving through its full range of motion and can cause erratic, uncontrolled steering. Excessive bump steer increases tire wear and makes the vehicle dangerous and more difficult to handle on rough roads.

Please Note: This bump steer kit requires the use of V8 spindles and inner tie rods, and 11/16-18 (.688) thread on adjuster sleeve shaft. This bump steer kit will not fit the 3/4-18 factory power steering inner tie rods.

We’re here with a Bump Steer Kit from Total Control Products fitting your 1965-1966 Mustang with manual steering. This Bump Steer Kit is going to replace the outer tie rod ends on your 1965-1966 Mustang with manual steering and correct the bump steer issue common in Mustangs; especially when they're lowered. Bump Steer occurs to the changes in toe with suspension movement. The more erratic these changes get, the worse your steering can get causing very erratic and dangerous steering. This bolt-on kit will correct that issue and will require alignment when finished. Due to the differences in outer tie-rod ends, this kit will only fit a manual steering Mustang. It will not work with power steering.
