Pair of Total Control Products Disc Brake Spindles for 1970, 1971, 1972 and 1973 Mustangs.
Original brake spindles are getting harder and harder to find. Whether your originals are damaged or you just want some added strength, these TCP Front Spindles share Ford's original geometry. Improvements have been made for added strength. They are compatible with both OEM disc brakes or aftermarket brake kits.
Features and Benefits:
- Stronger and More Durable Than Factory Spindles
- Utilizes 1970-1973's Superior Design Over Earlier Spindles
- Large-Bearing Design Provides Strength
- Brand-New Construction - Not Reconditioned OEM
These spindles are originally based on Ford's stout OEM 1970-1973 disc brake design. This later-style spindle has an improved caliper mounting arrangement with a large bearing size. They also act as a diagonal brace that triangulates the spindle assembly. The caliper mounting bosses are reinforced and strengthened.
Thanks to modern steel alloy construction, these spindles are much stronger than the originals. A silver powder-coated finish completes these control arms, providing great looks and lasting corrosion resistance.
Please Note: This pair of 1970-1973 style spindles may be used on 1965-1969 Mustangs when used with 1970-1973 outer tie rods, wheel bearings and brakes. 1965-1966 6-cylinder Mustangs must be upgraded with a V8 steering system.
