Front Trunk Floor Mustang 1965-1970

Are you working on the trunk restoration of your 1965-1970 Mustang, but don't want to remove sections of sheet metal that aren't rusted or pitted? Then consider replacing just the front of the trunk floor.

This replacement metal panel is about 11" by 34" and provides the mounting point for the front of the fuel tank. This piece will install by being welded in front of the fuel tank and will extend out towards the differential. This sheet metal will all you to remove the rusted-out section in the front of your Mustang's trunk floor. If most of the trunk is in good working order, than why spend extra money and unnecessary time replacing it? Quickly remove the smaller section with rust or structural damage and simply weld this replacement piece into place.
