Great Product
This item fit perfectly on my 2012 Mustang GT

Works with standards shift boot
I have a 2013 Mustang GT with the upgraded interior package. This has a unique shifter boot and Aluminum shift ball from the Factory. This Shift Boot retainer does NOT fit the shifter boot that comes with the upgraded interior. The finish of this piece is somewhat boring. It is a very dull finish, just like the picture shows. I would not recommend this for a show car. This piece is all business. I do like the 2 flats on the side of the shaft so that you can get a wrench on this if needed.

Looks great
I put a Hurst Universal T-Shift handle in my '13 Mustang and didn't like how you could see the shaft and the big ugly jam nut above the boot. This boot retainer fit perfectly and there is no need for the jam nut anymore either. Keeps shift handle tight and looks nice and clean.

Perfect!
Used this on my new MGW shifter with 12x1.25 (factory) threads because I wanted a little more of a custom look. It fit perfectly and looks fantastic! CJPP shipped the item quickly and I received it within a couple of days. If you need a shift boot retainer you will not be disappointed in the Scott Drake.
