Seat Track Extender Kit for 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2014 Mustangs. You want to enjoy your Mustang but you're a taller person and the Pony's leg room just doesn't quite cut it. We have the fix for you with this Seat Track Extender Kit that fits all 2005-2014 Mustangs. This kit adds up to three extra inches of leg room in front of your seat so you can get in, get out and drive comfortably. The seat track extenders mount between the seat track and the floor. In the process of moving your seat rearward, it also raises the seat about 3/4". The kit may be used for either the driver side seat or passenger side seat but the kit only modifies one seat.
- Two seat track extension bars
- Four 5/16"-24 x 1 grade 8 bolts
- Four 3/8" lock washers
- Two 10mm nuts
- Two 10mm lock washers
Being a taller person doesn't mean you can't enjoy all the Mustang has to offer. Our seat track extension kit will get you in your Mustang and out on the road while not feeling like your cramped up in a small box.
Kit does one seat.
Please Note: When seat tracks are fully extended, the rear seat in your Mustang is not usable.

Rated 4 out of 5 by stringfellow from Be patient and it will work I got these as a gift and finally got around to installing. First I don't have a grinder but I used a dremel with a grinding wheel. I took my time and once the fastener was cut I worked the piece that was being removed a little and it came right off. Once I got the seat back into the car the front holes seemed like they weren't going to line up but they did with a little work. I got one lined up and put in a bolt part way, then pulled the opposite track a fraction of an inch by hand and held it in place while I put in the other bolt. After all that it was just a matter of tightening everything up.

Rated 3 out of 5 by SYKB47L from They work....but the install was more "involved" These work. If your tall get a set. I was tired my knee being part of the lower dash; near the radio. They really do as they say and offer more leg room. The issue is that the install took a lot more than I was expecting. The holes didnt match up all that well but you can make it work with more drilling and grinding. Overall im happy with the extender. I suggest doing the install only if you have plenty of time.

Rated 3 out of 5 by EMD21102 from Solid but NOT Precise The product worked as advertised, Cutting off the brackets was a bit trickier than described. The bolt holes did NOT line up right making installation VERY DIFFICULT!

Rated 2 out of 5 by OlYeller01 from Great IF You Can Get Them Installed Bought one set of these and the included bolts were too long and the holes didn't line up. Because the included bolts were too long, the bolt was still sticking up almost a quarter of an inch when it started to get tight, which led to a snapped bolt and a ruined extender. Thinking I just had a bad set, I requested and received a replacement from CJ. The second set was NO better than the 1st in terms of bolt length or the holes lining up. Fortunately, a good buddy's family are machinists so they drilled & tapped me new holes that worked a LOT better. The only reason these didn't get one star from me is because, once installed, they are very nice (I'm 6'4"). Just be prepared to provide your own hardware or have a machinist handy if you decide to order them. I literally had an easier time installing my Roush supercharger than I did installing these stupid seat brackets.

Rated 4 out of 5 by shaneh from i fit in a sporty car! If you are tall like me (6'8) you need this in your car. As you can see by reading the other reviews most people who reviewed this product had a hard time getting everything to work. Given i did have some small problems, in the end it was fairly simple. follow the instructions step by step and don't read over anything.note you do need a grinder to grind off 2 rivets holding in the front rail brackets. when installing the final product the holes didn't line up but didn't take much to get in the right place. you most likely need two people for the install. after the install it was amazing to sit in a car that truly fit me. something i didn't know until after the install was that the seat doesn't move as foreword as it did with the original rails. so if you have a 5'2 girl friend who likes driving from time to time she will be ticked to know that she cant reach the peddles anymore. overall a great product

Rated 5 out of 5 by Paydn25 from I'm 6'11 and this product was amazing absolutely needed if you're tall, the install was only a problem because ford used a rivet where they didn't need to, but you can use a sawsall instead of a grinder to get it off. Overall amazing product and I couldn't be happier. Thanks CJ Pony!

Are there going to be 15mm bolts in the front brackets I will need to grind off in order to install this in a 2005 Mustang V6 Premium Convertible? This track extender kit becomes the new brackets installed to the seat themselves and floor board?
you reuse the bolts, what you grind off is what holds the front of the bracket where the front bolts go. I did this today on my 2006 convertible.

Do you have a seat track extender for a 2014 ford Taurus?
No we don't.

Has the problem of the holes not lining up on the 2014 mustang seat extenders been corrected by the manufacture yet? The review of this product said there was a problem fitting them becuse of this.
Doesn't appear to be an isolated case to me if you read all of the reviews. Still a problem now.

Does anyone have a picture of the "Rivot" everybody says needs to be ground off?
My 2011 had two man sized rivets that required grinding ..... took a good 30 minutes with an angle grinder and cold chisel and hammer. Probably depends on the year.

is the instillation really that bad? i would be totally sold if there was a video showing how the install should be done.
Yes it is that bad! The manufacturer needs to listen to its customers and make some adjustments in the instructions and hole alignment on the brackets. An angle grinder is a must to grind off the old rivets on the seat track.
